How to dose Ashwagandha and how to take it

Für psychische Entspannung oder für Ashwagandha als Hilfe bei Schlafstörungen und Einschlafproblemen wird meist eine höhere Dosis (2x) empfohlen.

Side effects of ashwagandha are not known. It is non-toxic even in higher doses, but too much can cause abdominal pain, nausea or diarrhea.

Pregnant and breastfeeding women should not take it. In autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, Hashimoto's thyroiditis and type 1 diabetes, consultation with the doctor should be made beforehand. Likewise, when taking medications for thyroid disorders, as Ashwagandha can affect thyroid hormone levels.

When do I feel an effect from Ashwagandha?

As with other plant substances, it usually takes some time before an effect is seen. Therefore, it is recommended to take it over a period of 2-3 months.
